The whole telescope is made of full brass. It is also called a harbor master telescope, as the harbor Master use to look out at the horizon at the incoming ships. It magnifies around 30 times. It is for nautical use. Has slide proof feet at the bottom, helping it to be stable on uneven ground. The stand has adjustable feet. When fully extended it is approximately 180 cm high. Minimum height is 90 cm. The length of the telescope is 100 cm. The telescope has a turning knob for focusing. The telescope can be seperated from the stand. Dual metal setting circles allow location of objects by their R.A. and DEC. coordinates. A separate latitude adjustment aids in polar alignment.
